I live in a rented house in a safe location – we have no need for cctv systems or anything like that in our area. Here I live with my wife and son for the last 11 years. It has an open place on the top and there are no rooms. We both work in the Christian missionary hospital which is very near to our home. So we live in this house and we have no idea how to change it. When I came here I started to give just 15 dollars as my monthly rent. Now I am giving 50 dollars. We have separate electricity connection with a separate meter.
We have a water bore facility and there is no problem for water even in the summer. In the front side, it has a portico and there I will park my two vehicles (two wheelers) and one cycle. Then next to portico I have my office room. There I will be doing all my computer works and office work. When I do my work, my son will also be studying here only. Next to this, there is a big hall and one bed room without bath room attached. In summer we will sleep in the hall only. The reason is we have no air condition facility.
In winter season we three will sleep in our bedroom. Next to them, there is a small kitchen with shelves and next to that there is a small open space for washing cloths. There we keep our washing machine and dust bin etc. Then there is a bathroom toilet. That’s all. This is constructed in a small square place. So every room is on our hands and under our eye control only. This is a compact house for us and we enjoy much. Our house owner also as a gentleman will not disturb us for any reason. This is one more advantage for us. But as a matter of fact, we used to keep this house as our own house with hygiene and cleanliness!
